Background History[]
Alexander Cade Mcoy was born in Mars, Alabama to mother, Satura Zagorski, and father Alexander McCoy on February 15, 1961. Satura was an immigrant from Poland who met Alexander while he was stationed overseas while serving in the Navy. Cade had one younger brother, Dexter, who died when he was a toddler due to house fire when Cade was 5. Cade attended school through the Mars Public School District where he struggled to keep passing grades. His father Alexander would often lose his temper with Cade while in high school, leading to fist fights after Cade had to intervene on his mother's behalf after Alexander's binge drinking.
During his Junior year of Highschool, his father had died in a car wreck after leaving the bar on a rainy November night. Cade and his mother moved in with his grandparents for the remainder of his years in school till he graduated in 1979. The following day he went to the United States Army recruiter's office and signed up to become an Infantryman like his favorite uncle, Sergeant Major Raymond McCoy. When he returned home from training he would find out his father had an affair, having had a double life in Tennessee, and that he had a half-sister Sarah Godwin.
Cade would spend the next 9 years in the Army where we would meet and marry his first wife, Samantha Rhodes-McCoy. While on deployment in Grenada, Samantha had passed away from cancer, which Cade did not know about until the autopsy. He would rise to the Rank of Staff Sergeant and get posted at Fort Benning where he went through Drill Sergeant School. There he met Sergeant Sierra Conway, his second wife and mother of his son, Eric McCoy who was born in 1986.
Sierra and Cade divorced in 1988 after coming to a conclusion that the marriage would not work out due to personality differences.
Cade moved to Vice City, Florida that same year after leaving the army with an honorable discharge. He was recruited into VCPD and attended the academy at age 27. Cade was assigned to the Washington Beach patrol in the traffic division where he met his partner Johnathan Waters. The duo rose through the ranks to make detectives and join the Narcotics division.
That same year, Cade met his future ex-wife, Kathryn Lindberg, at the Pole Position strip club. They quickly married and moved in together in a two bedroom apartment in the downtown area. Cade would often go for swims at the beach, which stopped after a shark attack, leaving permeant scarring on his left leg, from his knee to his foot.
Cade met Ramon "El Gallo" Falcone through his Confidential Informant Hans Armentrout while working on the Falcone Cartel case. Cade and Johnathan had spent months surveying and trying to infiltrate the organization, which proved valuable as Ramon spared their lives and offered them both employment instead of killing them. Both men valuing their lives took the offer and became on the take for the Cartel, allowing Ramon's operations to go interrupted for years.
Cade and his partner took bribes from the cartel to protect transportation routes through the city and misdirection any patrol officers from drop locations. They were discovered as corrupt after a bank robbery/hostage situation had gone bad, McCoy having shot a teenager through the leg to clear a line of fire to shoot the boy’s hostage taker, who happened to be an ex-cartel soldier. The teen was left crippled for life and the bank robber’s death was ruled as manslaughter after a 2 year investigation into McCoy and his partner. A young rookie cop named Carmine Grana was the key witness in the corruption investigation who reported McCoy and Waters to the Internal Affairs unit. IA also found out that 3.4 million dollars in collector’s coins had been diverted from a vault robbery to a stash house outside of town where McCoy and Waters had set up a base of operations. Before Cade was arrested Kathryn had went on the run, emptying out their apartment, and when he went to check on the stash house for the coins, they where gone. in 2000, McCoy was sentenced to 15 years in Federal Prison while Waters went on the run.
While in prison Cade had to fight for his life every day. Many of the men he put away behind bars where now there with him. Cade was attacked by Paulie DeMarco in the prison showers where he shanked Cade in the ribs. While in recovering from his wounds, the Cartel had men placed in the prison to protect Cade and to take care of Paulie, strangling him in the cafeteria during the middle of lunch. Cade was released from Prison in 2015 where he worked exclusively for Ramon as a body guard and driver.
Club 52 Massacre[]
15 miles outside of Vice City lies the infamous Club 52 Casino. in 2018, then State Senator Marco Delgado organized a drug buy between Serbian Nationalists Vojska Svetlosti and the Falcone Cartel. Things turned chaotic however when a third party heist crew who breached the hotel to rob the building found themselves in the midst of the drug deal, leading to a 3 hour shoot out and Senator Delgado dead. Luck would have it an undercover NOOSE agent who was running surveillance on the exchange would not arrest Cade but instead save his life by rescuing him from the casino floor, Cade having jumped from the balcony and broken his leg in the pool to escape the shootout. The Agent got Cade to safety and he vowed to return the favor for his new "Gambling Buddy".
In 2021, Cade underwent a DNA test on the behest of his doctor to rule out any possible heredity cancers after showing symptoms. The DNA test results came back negative on the website but did 50% match a living DNA relative in Los Santos, a Willow Lindberg. After close consideration by Ramon, He agreed to let Cade go to Los Santos to see if this person was his daughter, under the notion that Cade would pay back his blood debt owed to the Cartel within six months...
