Introduction[]
Daniel Pez is a Lawyer who resides in Los Santos. He is employed at Black & Associates LLP Law firm and actively practices law as his day job. He was originally born in Australia but moved to Los Santos after hearing about the death of his cousin Jonathon Conhel. Daniel moved to Los Santos to protect criminals from the wrath of the UPD and desires to found an official Department Of Justice one day.
First Meetings[]
Upon flying into the city, Daniel met another Lawyer by the name of Oliver Benson, in the midst of learning that Oliver was a Lawyer, Daniel was immediately intrigued. Oliver offered Daniel the position of Paralegal in the firm Black & Associates LLP, which was founded by Robert Black and owned by Michael Trick. Daniel immediately took up the opportunity.
Shortly after taking the position offered by Oliver, Daniel left the city for approximately two months. Daniel does not have any memory of the two months that passed by, but he did regret that he was absent at all, especially after taking the opportunity from Oliver.
Upon returning to Los Santos after his two month hiatus, Daniel immediately tried to get back in contact with Oliver, direct messaging him "I am so sorry for not coming into the city, I unexpectedly was unable to fly in because the time was not available. My apologies if you are still around I would love to work with you." Oliver responded with "Sorry; remind me of our conversation; 2 months is a long time lmao". Even though Oliver did not remember Daniel specifically Daniel was still happy Oliver was around, as the opportunity was still open to be a Paralegal. After getting in contact with Oliver, Daniel was hired within the firm (Black & Associates LLP). Oliver responding "forgot to respond, but you're hired in our firm".
Now that Daniel was officially hired within a legitimate Law firm as a legitimate Paralegal he could now get to work. First off, Oliver sent Daniel all of the relevant documents that he would need for his Job, (Los Santos Constitution, Los Santos Case Laws, and a tailored version of the Los Santos penal code) these resources would be vital for Daniel's development and knowledge in the area that is the Law.
Initially, most of Daniel's time with Oliver was spent with both of them standing around at city hall. Oliver getting the occasional phone call to write a contract, make an expungement, or general questions. while Daniel would wait for Oliver to take him on a Cell Rep.
Eventually, the long awaited Cell Rep came, with Oliver requesting Daniel to 'Shadow' him inside the cells. Daniel was quite nervous at first, as he had never been inside of the Police department, and had never been face to face with a criminal before. Daniel watched as Oliver articulated arguments against their Clients charges and watched attentively, Oliver using terms like 'Terry v Ohio' and 'Statute of Limitations', which Daniel had not heard before. in conclusion, Daniel was impressed and intrigued.
